Pip Pip Cheerio!


This is just a drawing I did in my sketchbook-not based on anybody from life. It's funny what a little thing can do to a drawing. He started out as sort of an office manager, with a tie, white shirt and clipboard, and then I added the mustache, and the whole character had to change. This is what it evolved into....

Hey Hey Hey!


Hey Everyone,
I'm Tim and I'm new at this so bear with me. I plan on using this site to start uploading artwork and what not, so we'll see what happens. One of the things I'm going to start doing is memory drawings, or drawings based on people I see throughout the day and then draw later from memory, trying to catch their personality as closely as I can. I can't take credit for this idea, as it was given to me by the incredible character designer Stephen Silver, when he came to give a lecture at our school the other day. Anyway, to kick off this site I'm going to post a memory drawing I just did of a grumpy manager that I saw at Office Max earlier today. I ended up going to Kinkos;).......
